In many cases, buyers will need to make a number of staged payments over the duration of the property purchase and it is essential to understand the implications of rate fluctuations over that period. In recognition of this fact, and to help our customers, Eclipse Overseas has formed a partnership with Moneycorp Commercial Foreign Exchange.

What do I do now?

Firstly, you will need to open your trading account. To do this you will need to complete a brief registration form and provide copies of two forms of identification. There is no cost or obligation to registering with Moneycorp.

Making an immediate payment

Open your trading account as explained above.
Agree an exchange rate with your Private Client Dealer verbally over the telephone. This will give you an exact amount in Sterling for your overseas payment.
A “Contract Note” will be faxed, emailed or posted to you to re-confirm in writing the details of the amount of currency Moneycorp have purchased for you.
Arrange for your Sterling to be transferred to the specified account.
Complete the “Transfer Instruction Form” with the details of where you would like us to pay your foreign currency.
